GOOD HABITS / PRIVACY

Privacy policy

You do not need an account to track your habits. App data is stored on your device by default.

Effective and last updated: October 3, 2026

Includes ads · Remove with a one-time purchase

01. Operator and scope

This policy covers the Good Habits app (좋은 습관 만들기) and this privacy website. The app developer operates Good Habits and handles privacy enquiries at debateit23@gmail.com.

02. Information stored on your device

The app stores habit names, action cues, schedules, goals and units, daily records, reminder times, time zone, language and display preferences, and theme unlocks in app storage. It offers no registration, login, upload of habit data to an operator server, or cloud sync. It does not use Firebase Authentication, Analytics or Crashlytics. Local information supports habit tracking, statistics, settings and reminders.

03. Notifications and device access

Notification permission is requested when you enable reminders, which are scheduled on your device. Habits are not sent to a remote push notification server. You can decline or revoke permission in device settings. Import and export use files and sharing destinations you select. The app does not request access to contacts, your photo library, precise location or the microphone.

04. Backups, retention and deletion

An exported JSON backup contains habits, records and related settings and is not separately encrypted. The policies of your chosen storage or sharing service apply; keep the file secure. Restoring replaces current data. A local recovery copy is created before replacement, deleted on success, and retained on failure so you can export it; it can also be replaced during the next restore or removed by deleting all app data. Use Delete all data in app settings to remove local user data. Uninstalling generally removes app storage, but you must delete external backup files yourself. OS automatic backup exclusion is configured, but the behavior of every device-transfer tool cannot be guaranteed. The operator cannot remotely view or delete records held only on your device.

05. Advertising and analytics

The app shows Google AdMob banner ads and optional rewarded ads that you choose to watch. Before requesting ads it uses Google’s consent message (UMP) to offer the choices required in your region, and you can reopen the ad privacy choices from the privacy screen in settings. On iOS the consent flow may include the App Tracking Transparency request, and your choice affects whether ads are personalized. Google AdMob may process IP addresses, device and advertising identifiers, ad interactions and diagnostic information. Habit names and records are not passed to ad targeting. No separate usage analytics service is connected. Removing ads is a one-time in-app purchase through Google Play or the App Store; the store processes payment and the operator does not receive your card details. Your purchase status is stored on your device and can be restored after reinstalling or on a new device with Restore purchases. Service information: Google AdMob / UMP / Google Privacy Policy.

06. Email enquiries

When you contact us, your sender address, message and any attachments you choose to provide are used to answer your enquiry and resolve issues. Do not send habit backups or sensitive information unnecessarily. Enquiry information is kept for as long as needed to handle the request and then deleted, subject to any legally required retention. Email providers handle message delivery and storage.

07. Hosting of this website

This information page is served by Google Firebase Hosting. When you visit, Google processes connection information such as IP addresses to deliver content and prevent abuse. Firebase states that Hosting retains IP information for a few months. We have added no analytics tools, ads, tracking cookies or external web fonts to this page. The app does not send habit records to this site. Service processing may take place outside your country. Details: Firebase Privacy and Security / Google Privacy Policy.

08. Your choices and rights

You can view, edit, export and delete local records in the app, and manage notification permission in device settings. To ask about privacy or exercise applicable access, correction or deletion rights for information supplied in an enquiry, contact debateit23@gmail.com. The operator cannot remotely access local records it does not hold. Where applicable, you may complain to your data protection authority.

09. Children and security

The app is intended for adults managing everyday habits and was not designed as a service for children. We do not intentionally request children’s personal information. Contact us if you believe a child has supplied information in an enquiry. We use app storage and HTTPS for this website, but do not provide a separately encrypted vault for the local database or exported backups. Protect your device with a lock and manage access to backup files.

10. Changes to this policy

We will update this page and its revision date when features or processing change. Material changes such as advertising, accounts or sync will be explained before release, with any required notices or consent choices.
